Social Responsibility
For ePlus, good corporate citizenship is fundamental to who we are as a company, and our global team is committed to making a positive difference in the communities in which we live and work. ePlus, its employees and its partners contribute in many ways to charitable organizations that support individuals facing challenges from homelessness and hunger to blood cancers and access to education. A sampling of our collective efforts, which include a combination of employee giving, corporate matching, and volunteerism, can be found below and is a source of great pride for our company.
Habitat for Humanity
We are honored to have had the chance to work in partnership with Habitat for Humanity on multiple home builds in locations across the U.S. over the years. Not only does it provide our employees with a hands-on way to give back, but it is a true pleasure to see the joy and happiness provided to families who need these beautiful homes.
A Healthy Dose of Gratitude
The doctors, nurses and support staff working in healthcare positions are always heroes, in our eyes. The challenges they have faced over the last several years have been unprecedented and relentless. Working regularly with our partner community, we provided hundreds of on-site meals and treats to some of the Healthcare Heroes working in different facilities across the US as a way to express our continued gratitude for all they do.
National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)
Our ties to NMDP (formerly Be The Match) are strong, unique and inspiring. They are a customer we have proudly supported for many years whose sole purpose is to give patients suffering from blood cancer a second chance at life. Our continual fundraising efforts for NMDP support donation logistics, including transportation of people and bone marrow to and from hospitals and expenses associated with transplants.
Tech in Pink
Each year, ePlus is proud to partner with The Estee Lauder Companies in its annual Tech in Pink campaign, which supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In addition to a monetary donation the ePlus team joins in the effort to spread a sea of pink across social media to raise awareness and funds.
Delivering Joy
Each year, ePlus joins forces with children’s hospitals across the U.S. to deliver a special holiday experience to young patients and their families. As a means to "Deliver Joy" and holiday delight across all locations, ePlus provides a customized Santa experience that gets video-streamed into hundreds of patient rooms. The video features Santa leading children through holiday carols and a virtual story time and runs in each hospital throughout the month of December.
In addition, each hospital creates a patient wish list each year, and ePlus employees, customers and partners unite to provide holiday toys, winter items, books, blankets and other gifts to patients and their families. The initiative also invites support for NMDP (formerly Be The Match), our long time charitable partner whose inspiring work has saved lives through matching marrow donors with those in need of transplants.
