Quick stats

Data center capacity constraints, increased cloud spend and security concerns led the list of organizational challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, according to our recent survey.

Data Center Capacity Challenges:

Over half of IT leaders (58%) experienced capacity challenges in their data centers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Within the first 90 days of the pandemic, a quarter (25%) of the organizations experienced an increase in cloud spending. And almost one in ten (9.9%) saw their cloud spend jump by more than 20%.

Have you reassessed your risk profile after enacting your COVID response plan?

Only thirty-nine percent (39%) of organizations were very confident in their security controls, with 57% saying they were somewhat confident. 40% have not reassessed their risk profile at all.

Agility in Action - The CIO Perspective

Our customers span every industry, from healthcare and finance to public sector and IT, and their COVID-19 challenges have been as diverse as they are. Agility is defined as the power to move quickly and easily. Many of our customers were forced to transition their operations rapidly to accommodate and enable dispersed workforces as a result of an unprecedented pandemic. ePlus has provided leadership, guidance and expertise to customer organizations during a massive and rapid acceleration in digital infrastructures, cloud migrations, network security and deployment of remote enablement technology. In this video, we’ve captured some of the conversations around these areas with our own CIO, Doug King, and some of our strategy team members as they discuss Cloud, Security, Networking and Collaboration.
