Networking solutions that are simple, outcome driven, and converged.
Transform your network with the solution that helps you design, plan, and manage your network.
- Simplify your operations: Converge services to a single layer to save up to 46% TCO.
- Improve network efficiency: Streamline and optimize your network by automating network operations.
- Resilience in the face of unpredictability: A more elastic infrastructure allows faster deployment, configuration and scalability to meet growth in bandwidth demand.
- Grow your revenue: Deliver more services with the same infrastructure to increase profitability and minimize cost.
- Take advantage of automation: Simplify management and operations with visibility, insights, and action, and to drive closed-loop automation.
What is Routed Optical Networking?
Simplify enterprise and carrier-grade networks with routed optical networking solutions.
Routed Optical Networking, part of the Converged SDN Transport solution, is an architecture that delivers improved operational efficiencies and simplicity. The solution works by merging IP and private line services onto a single layer where all the switching is done at Layer 3. Routers are connected with standardized 400G ZR/ZR+ coherent pluggable optics.
Deploying an optical solution helps networks maximize the use of their existing fiber plant and cover long distances in high-demand, high-bandwidth service areas with little to no disruption.
Routed Optical Networking delivers on a strategy in transforming connectivity by efficiently meeting the ever-growing demand for low-latency high(er) speed, seamless digital services and delightful user experiences. Additionally, complex legacy architectures can be costly, with a $5 OpEx spend for each $1 of CapEx. Cost savings can be realized by converging service layers.
Removing the complexities
Designing for Failure and Building a Redundant Network
Failures in networks are inevitable. However, designing for failure means creating a flexible, intelligent, and predictable network with built-in redundancies, proactive alerts, and automation tools integrated with a comprehensive set of processes. By implementing this practice, you can prevent outages, minimize outage impact, uphold your reputation, and protect your revenue.
The right technology and infrastructure paired with the right processes will limit downtime and disruptions.
